Recently I used a Winchester powder, WST. I was impressed how it did compared to Promo. What are your thoughts and comments. What powder do you think is more bang for the buck? Or is better for consistant shooting?

Honeyman's Sweet Shot

That's what we call it. Homemade #8 shot from our Stewart shotmaker. Since starting to shoot more last June, we decided to make our own shot to reload with. It cut cost tremendously. We use Remington hulls with Cheddite primers, 1 oz. claybuster cb1100 and 18.4 gr of Promo. It works in the 11-87 OK....

I thought they were great! It was my first time using them,and I didn't feel that I had to yell "PULL". Modern technology is great.

Great turn out for the State shoot. Can't wait to see the results of the shoot. Great weather and people at the shoot. The A/C was GREAT!!!!! along with the folks that organized and worked at the shoot. Don't miss the next one on July or you will regret it.

NC State Shoot who was the 'Hottest' shooter

I felt I was at times standing out there on the line Friday and Saturday. I can not complain though, because Friday, I won the Singles class D with a personal best of 95. So I guess standing in the heat was worth it. Next time, I'll rig up a Gatorade i v.
