AIM Zone Shoot Results (NC youths score well)

Post by jcallan »

The winning scores for the AIM Zone Shoot held on May 2-3rd and May 9-10th are posted on the ATA site at http://www.shootata.com/aim/content/onl ... sults.html

Both Hunter Eaves and Addison Callan (NC AIM youths) participated in the shoot for the Southern Zone (10 states) in the Sub-Jr and Pre-Sub categories by competing on May 9th together at Old Hickory Gun Club in Rocky Mount. They scored respectful 89/100 and 90/100 in the singles event on a particularly windy day.

Although individual first and second place scores posted in the Sub-Jr category were 100 and 98, the first and second place scores posted for Pre-Sub were 95 and 84. We have inquiries into the ATA to determine just why 84 exceeds 90 :?: , but however the inquiry ends up we are quite proud :D of both Hunter and Addison for doing so well in such a large field.

Update: The AIM website was updated today and I received confirmation that they did indeed find the missing scores and Addison Callan (NC) did officially take Runner Up for the Southern Zone AIM Shoot. We are looking forward to the ATA NC State Shoot this week and the ATA Southern Zone (this is also the AIM NC State Shoot) in mid-July.
