Another warm one this week. Temperatures in the low 90’s with a heat index over 100 and a slight breeze. Thank goodness for the wind. Funny comment from a trapshooter. Wayne Averill takes Top Gun honors this week with a 47. He ran the first 25 and backed it up with a 22 on the second box. Second place was a tie with Pat Childers and Larry Dudley both breaking 44. Harold Smith was third with a 43 and Dave Eslinger from VA took fourth with a 42. Fred Barnett and Fred Truelove were next with a pair of 40’s. We had one visitor. Pete Schepler was down here on vacation with his family and shot a 40 with us. Charlie Bertrand and John Rahilly also smoked a few with us this week.

We have switched to summer hours for the Big 50. We will shoot the Big 50 starting at 11 A.M. from now until September 28, 2016 when we return to a 1 P.M. start time.
