Buckhorn 9/3, 9/4, 9/5

Post by straightaway »

What a great weekend. We had a decent turnout for all three days, I don't think anybody shot them all. Everybody did enjoy the food though......

We had shooters from all across the state, from the coast to the mountains and Virginia. There was something for everybody over the three days, good scores were shot for every event.

Homemade ice cream, cupcakes and brownies, cookies, all kinds of fruit along with the cold cuts, cheese and beans were on hand for all. Anybody that goes hungry can only blame it on themselves...... Marty brought his kitty kat to the club and the Millers brought their son Gauge out to play.

Saturday 9/3, was a little more overcast than Sunday and Monday with a pretty stiff breeze to contend with. I believe the temps stayed in the 70s all day

Again, the faithful were out to provide the support. THANK YOU all so much for all you do.

The normal porch sitting banter and trash talking was participated in by all. Humorous stories were shared and enjoyed by most, some were the butt of pointed jabs, especially those who weren't there to defend themselves........ Maybe you'll be there next time to defend yourself.......

The HOF is just a couple weeks out. Bill Howe to be inducted and very deservedly so. Bill has, and continues to shoot up and down the East coast and has been the most prolific NC shooter the past several years. This is one of the best shoots of the year at Bostic, can't wait.

See you next time and travel safe. Dan
