This is becoming a broken record. Hot and Humid AGAIN! Very little but mostly no breeze. Heat index of 105 was enough to fry my phone for the rest of the day. Other than that conditions were great. We had 14 shooters this week. Bill Mortensen captured singles this week with a blistering 48. Great shooting Bill! Dave Eslinger and Fred Truelove tied for second with a pair of 47’s. Walt Savage from Maryland took third with a 45 and Pat Childers was fourth with a 43. Five of us shot handicap following the singles. Walt Savage was top gun for caps with a 41. Bill Mortensen finished second with a 40 and Pat Childers was third with a 34.

Other News
David Barron is still recovering from his illness but progressing nicely. David joined us for a while at the club Wednesday. His pick line comes out Thursday and he plans to shoot with us this Saturday at our Monthly 100 trap shoot.
Larry Dudley is doing well following his stroke a few weeks ago. Undergoing some therapy to improve his range of motion in his arm. John Lowder is doing fine following his accident. Both shot with us this week. Really glad all 3 are doing better.
I think I will ask the club owner to install a misting system on the trap field to help cool us off. It’s either that or just jump in the pond. Can’t wait for the dog days to go.
The Big 50 scheduled for 08/09/17 was cancelled due to weather. It started raining heavily in the middle of the singles and was called due to lightning.
