Old Hickory Rocky Mount 3-24-19

Post by Rooster »

We had 25 shooters to show up and shoot clay targets on a very pleasant day in Rocky Mount. The wind played with the targets some, but the temperature was just right. John Martin and David Barron were tied up with 97's in singles. After a rough trip getting to the gun club, Pat Childers broke a 94 in caps. Pat earned a 1/2 yard punch to move to the 23 1/2 and save John Martin and Will Price from getting punches with their 92's. John and Will looked like they were sweating pretty good until Pat brought in that 94 on the last flight. David Barron ran the first 50 in doubles and ended up with 92 to win doubles. David was also the HOA winner with a 276 beating Will Price by two birds. Now for the rest of the story.
