SC State Sunday
Beautiful weather to shoot in the Palmetto State.. Doug Stenback won the SC Doubles with a 99. Not sure who won out of state hi-gun.
Handicap and the top score was a group of 96's that included Doug Stenback, James Ivey Jr., Bobby Anders and Marty Hill. There might have been one one more. Yes I know some were in state and others out of state.

Marty was only down one bird going into the last 12 birds and let 3 slip to the parched dry SC grass.

Not sure how the shootoffs wound up so more to follow. Might want to check the Spartanburg Gun Club website for all the gory details.

Day 4 SC State Shoot
Thomas Campbell is the 2010 SC State Singles champ after a 197 and a 25 in shootoff with Gary Olson and Hannah Tollison.
2010 GA State Singles Champion Ray Grimes posted the top score of the day with the only 199 of the day.

Jeff Galloway broke a 198 for OPEN AA and had to break an extra fifty against GA shooter Bob Boswell to seal the win.

Weather has been good with high humidity and high temps for the first 100. The threat of rain brought a little relief for the second 100 and we know Marty Hill appreciated that.

We hope that the weather will hold up for the remaining events and we will do a wrap up sometime Sunday night or Monday..

SC State Friday
Day 3 is over at the SC State and some NC shooters shot well. Jeff Galloway broke all of them in the singles this morning and broke a 98 in the doubles.
George Ponton broke a 94 in the caps and believe that won vet. That is about all we have and the weather was hot and a tad windy.

Charlie Ackroyd, Greg High and Marty Hill showed up today to shoot the weekend.

South Carolina State Shoot
Looks like the SC State Shoot is off to a good start. Thursday it was a bit windy with Hunter Galloway winning his class in singles and Jeff in doubles.
Friday the weather was 93 in my car and the wind was a little lighter. Charlie Brown won the caps with a 95 and Billy Thigpen had a 100 in the singles.

We are hoping the weather holds out for Friday with an 8:30 start for the singles in the morning. Dave Daily is here from Myrtle Beach and Tom Cox made the trip for the event.

I would like to apologize for not getting the Buckhorn scores up in a timely manner. Jimmy gave me the scores early in the week and I cannot find the info anywhere..
