Great weather today for the monthly Lewis Class Shoot at the Rockingham Gun Club near Reidsville NC. Two squads stepped to the line and some shooters got started off on the right foot.
Ronnie Manuel led all singles with a perfect "Yep" 50 with Charlie Rinehart 48, Gary Daniels 47 and Roger Shaffer and Zax Tate with 46's.
Then it was time for the caps and the wind started moving the birds around a little bit. Roger Shaffer and Freddy Redmon had 45's and Ronnie Manuel had 44.
Zax Tate broke his first 25 in singles and had a 24 in handicap also. His 87 was the 4th highest score broken in the competition.
Ronnie Manuel broke a 94 to win the event with Zax Tate winning the 2nd Lewis and Ray Shisler winning the low Lewis.
We also had some happy door prize winners and look who wound up with the shells:)
Everybody had a great time and the hot dogs were great for lunch and really hit the spot. Lane and the RCGC would like to thank everybody that pitched in to help and look on the calendar for our next Lewis Class Shoot.
