16 shooters arrived at the Rock Saturday with great weather awaiting them. The wind showed up and played with the targets and the shooters.
After the singles the leader in the cluhouse was Rock club president Roger "Hammer" Haney with a 48. There were several 47's nipping at his heels leading into the caps event.
He got off to a slow start with a 20 on trap 1 but followed up strong with a solid 25 on the next trap. That was all it took to seal the deal and win with a 93 for the day.
We had several new participants shoot with us Saturday and we appreciate them coming out to shoot. Tom Cox provided another Henry James BBQ lunch with all the fixins and the beans are getting better and better each shoot!
Andy Galloway came out to shoot and wound up winning the mid-lewis. Charlie Rineharts running buddy Roland Whitley wound up taking the low-lewis honors.
All in all everybody had a great time except for the ones of us that stunk it up! Don't forget the Rock registered shoot the 21st of February, please join us.
Also, Tom Cox and crew have done a great job organizing the new trap facility to accomodate the registration and cashiering. We hope that this will help speed up the process for our upcoming shoot schedule.
