A good crowd showed up to get ready for the State Shoot next week. We had some new shooters to Ft. Bragg including a couple of shooters from Conway,SC. Marty Hill made two freezers of ice cream and it was all gone by 2:00. I didn't get to taste the ice cream, but I heard that it was OK. You know I'm not supposed to be eating ice cream anyway. Chris Shoulars got ready to defend his State Title in Singles by winning the singles event with a 99.
Charlie Ackroyd took caps with a 93 and 5 other shooters nipping at his heels with 92's.
Greg High got ready to defend his State Title in Doubles by shooting a 96 along with Mr. Wilson. We would like to think the Wilson's , Tom Brown and Lou Carter for helping to put on the shoot. All help is greatly appreciated.
