The 10th Glenn Miller Marathon/Memorial is in the books.

We posted pic and information earlier on the Marathon. But then we moved into Sunday for the more classic three hundred target events. The weather was hot for the mountains, I think we got into the mid 80’s, but as always there this mountain breeze we have. To be honest the handicap event was shot in some heavy winds. You put a twenty mile an hour tail wind on those targets and they really move. Or maybe it was a five hundred target lag from the day before.

The shooting was great and a lot of fun. Tom Brown rolled in from the foothills and set up camp down next to the creek for the weekend. And when he pulled out he had most all the hardware and goodies in the back of the camper.

Then Big Jim rolled in set out under the porch for a while and made a trip to the kitchen line for dinner. He did stay long enough for Jeri to shoot a round of singles. I don’t know if the trip was for the food or to escape the heat. It was great to see them both.
