Coharie report 8-9-08.
The weather was beautiful. Still hot but bearable and minimal wind. Chuck Patterson is trying his best to relieve Coharie of the mid-50 pot before he leaves to California. He had 49 last shoot and 48 this shoot. Al Williams spent the day with us and visited and wished he could shoot. Everyone commented on how well he looked. Many thanks to all the shooters who helped score and clean up. Your efforts were much appreciated especially since the main man Al was unable to participate. Mark and Chris Lane returned after a long hiatus and shot well. Chris especially burned up the doubles. Chris left his prescription shooting glasses at home and shot well using Pete Wallis’ glasses. Charles Fagan and Justin Young showed us oldsters how to shoot. Phil Berkowitz is trying to become accustomed to a new gun.
