Rockingham Scores For March 24th,2012

The threat of rain might have kept a few folks away for RCGC's first registered shoot of 2012. When we rolled into the complex it was dark and they had the lights on in the clubhouse.
Folks began to drift in and we managed to get a few folks together to spread a little lead. We started a little later than published to allow for a cell to pass that wound up drenching one of the singles squads.
Another handicap squad got a little moist and a few drops fell during the doubles. Other that that is was a great day at the Rock and thanks to everybody that attended.
Singles - Addison Callan broke 25-24-24-25 for a solid 98 for the singles win and his dad Jim Callan had the next highest score with a 96. JC Nunn and Tommy Brown had fifty straights with JC breaking his last 50 HARD.
Handicap found four shooters at the top with 91's. Winky Mabe took the top honors with Bruce Litaker taking short and JC Nunn taking SrVet after a flip with Roger Shaffer.
Last but not least Jeff Galloway rolled in late and he wound up winning the dubs with a 91. Winky Mabe won the HOA with 93-91-88 for a 272x300 total.
