BGC 5/17 & 5/18

What a beautiful weekend to shoot in the Carolinas.

Saturday - The temperature was pleasant, sunshine all day & a nice breeze. A few highlights of the day include Garth Sweredoski shooting his personal best in singles, Lonnie Campbell shooting penalty yardage earned a half yard punch, new Jr shooter Jacob Lyle broke his first 25 straight in registered shooting, also another new Sub Jr shooter Addison Callan shot in his first registered shoot. We had a few minutes to kill before supper, so we had 5 people shoot a round of Doubles, Clay Floyd promptly smoked 100 Straight. Everyone worked up a healthy appetite from the day's shooting and chowed down on 60 hamburgers, 40 hot dogs, 60 ears of fresh corn on the cob & several desserts including Marty Hill's famous out of this world ice cream (that Jim didn't get any of -ya snooze ya lose).

Sunday - Sunny skies held out for most of the day. The nice breeze we had Saturday turned into some wicked winds.

We want to thank everyone that came out to shoot & to everyone that lent a hand working during the shoot.

Our next shoot is June 28th & 29th. The "Chuck & Sandie Appreciation Shoot".

No one hit the Mid-Fifty Pot, it is now just under $3000.
