John Martin and Lane Murray - 1 yard punch for a 98 AT THE ROCK
Rockingham County held their Summer Shoot Saturday and the weather was hot and beautiful. There was very little wind and some great scores were broken. John Martin and Tommy Brown knotted up with 96's and the tie was settled with an actual shoot off with John Martin the winner. The caps cranked up and John Martin broke 50 straight on trap 1 and then a pair of 24's on trap 2 for a SOLID 98 and a yard punch. Tommy Brown broke a 48 on the first trap and then a 43 on trap 2 for a 91.
All in all everybody had a great time and thanks to all that pitched in scoring and loading the traps.
