Buckhorn Toy for Tots 11/13/2016

Well what a chilly start to the day it was Sunday morning! I saw 25 degrees on the thermometer early, but, that didn't stop Randy Jones from wearing shorts.......tough is all I can say.......It did warm up to quite comfortable, upper 50s, by the time handicap got going along with solid sunshine for all three events and very minimal winds.
There was a good contingent showed up from Boone along with a pair of shooters from Virginia. The turn out was a little less than James expected, I can only guess it was due to the low temperatures. There were 18 for the singles,18 for handicap and 15 for doubles. When I arrived at the club around 10:30 or so, there was quite a couch full of toys.
It was definitely Morgan Shaw's day until his 1100 went down on him in doubles. Mr. Shaw managed to break the mid 50 for a healthy pay day that I'm sure will come in handy as he did mention something about shooting in Florida in the near future.

One more scheduled shoot for Buckhorn in 20 16. If your not getting Jimmy's emails, send him a message.
Another big shout of Thank You to the faithful that give of their time and work so hard to make these events run so smoothly.
Just a few short days until Thanksgiving. Give a moment of thought to the many blessings we have to be thankful for.
See you next time wherever it is. Travel SAFE. Dan
