Buckhorn shot Saturday and Sunday and great scores were broken both days. 14 singles and 14 doubles shooters stepped to the line and John Miller won the singles with a 197 and Charlie Brown won the doubles with a 96. Sunday 17/16/10 signed up to play and Dan Johnson won the SINGLES with a 100, Ron Costanzo got a punch for a 93 and John Miller won the doubles with a 97.

25,000 Singles - Congrats
John Miller reached a milestone Sunday and registered his 25,000th singles target even though he missed a target between 25,400 and 25,500 for a 99. Karole had a cake and I hope she can send me a picture of it. Looks like the invalid hobbled to the line and that is great to see him back out tuning it in…….
Rockingham shot Saturday and Ronnie Manuel lead all singles shooters with a 99, Tom Brown won the caps with a 92 and Jeff Galloway won the doubles with a 97. Tommy and Ronnie tied for the HOA. Sunday the Fun shoot found a little wind and Lane won the event with a solid 94. The storms that blew through Rockingham County took down a HUGE tree at the gate to the property. Amazingly it did not damage the gate and it is hard to believe.

The South Carolina State Shoot cranks up this Wednesday and a good number of NC shooters will be attending the shoot. Dan mentioned something about Jim Faber taking a look at Marty Hill a little closer at the classification table….not quite sure what that is all about. Not sure what the meal will be Saturday night with BBQ served in 2016 due to the fish crew losing their cooker in an accident.
Bill Howe and Billy Thigpen attended the Empire Grand and both Bill and Billy won trophies at the event. Please see the trapshoot scores in the trapshooters.com website for all the scores from the Empire Grand.
Ok that is about it for this week and we will try to post info from the South Carolina State Shoot when available. Hello to Lou, Hap, Scott and Ronnie and until next week………………………Smokem
