February is under our belt and that means one more month closer to Spring, and March madness is upon us. Seem to be a real important month too everyone here in North Carolina. I think the weather played games on several of out shoots this month. But I have only on shoot being called off due to weather. The numbers of shooters seem to be down, but it takes a real hardy soul too shoot trap in a freezing rain.

I’m missing a report for Gastonia’s shoot date 2/21/2009, and I believe that the last shoot of the month on the 28th at Old Hickory got rained out.
Big movers, or should I say big shooters, Jim Wilson was the big gainer for February. He jumped into the lead for Men. I also saw where Marty Hill out of the sand dunes of Fort Bragg broke into the top five. Also Morris Carroll shot well this month and took a big jump in the points in the men’s class. The only other change was Don Kaufman moved to second place in the Veteran Category. Then the rest of the classes stayed about the same with no real movers.
