Fort Bragg March 27th Results

Post by Rooster »

A good crowd showed up Saturday morning to face a cold brisk wind. Lane Murray brought a ton of Trapshooting history with him in the persons of Elmo Matkins and JC Nunn. Despite the temperature, Marty Hill made a freezer of Banana and a freezer of
Oreo. All the Banana was gone and there was just enough of the Oreo for Mr. High to take home to his wife. We hope the weather is closer to "ice cream" weather when we
shoot on April 18th. Now to the shooting, Jonathan Lederer and Mark Yeatts both had
97's in singles with Jonathan winning the flip for Champ. The tailgunner JC Nunn showed
us how to shoot caps in the wind with a 91 and earning a 1/2 yard punch. Tom Brown took doubles with a 92, besting Greg High by two birds. Tom also took his usual HOA with
a 272. It should be noted that Larry High, Charlie Brown and Charlie Ackroyd showed up, but decided to follow Charlie Brown's "Clear, 69 and calm wind Rule." The only condition we met was the "Clear" part. Now the rest ot the story.
