I was sitting on the porch at Buckhorn today and asked Jeri Wilson a question. I asked Jeri that if there was trapshooting in heaven was this what heaven would be like?
Carolina blue skies and just a titch of windage greeted the shooters that participated in the festivities today at Buckhorn. Great scores were produced in the singles, caps and twins events.
Charlie Brown led all singles shooters with a 197 and Tim Crabtree had the only 100 for a strong 196 for AA. Marty Hill led all shooters with a 94 in the surprise caps event. Jimmy Wilson lead all doubles shooters with a "STRONG" 198 in the doubles.
It was great to see that Joe Brumfield made it home safe from Afghanistan. Welcome home Joe and Thank you.
John Kerns bought himself a new K-80 and shot it very well Sunday winning the caps with a solid 96. Tim and Richard knotted up in singles with 99s. Tim shot singles great all weekend.
