Fort Bragg October 30th and 31st
A good crowd showed up to find great weather and great targets at Fort Bragg this weekend. "Mr. Wilson" was the only one to run the singles Saturday with a boat load of 98's and 97's chasing him. John Kerns and James Callan topped caps with 95's and 1/2 yard punches for their efforts. Mac Herring came up from Clinton to top all doubles shooters with a 98 and took HOA honors on Saturday with a 283.
Bob Goodman and George Brown joined "Mr. Wilson" in running the singles on Sunday.
Along with the 3- 100's we had 4 shooters with 99's and 4 shooters with 98's. Might know that I would pick Sunday not to shoot when evidently the targets must have looked like trash can lids. Mr. High must have adjusted the targets for caps, because the scores seem to come down. Kim McKinney, Phil Berkowitz and "Mr. Wilson" tied with 93's and everybody getting a 1/2 yard punch. Although "Mr. Wilson" just received a honorary punch, I think we should make him shoot from the "grass." Tommy Brown was high in doubles with a 98. Tommy and Charlie Brown tied for HOA with a 285 on Sunday.
