2011 South Carolina State Shoot Info

Day 1 is over and all we have to report is that it is HOT and muggy. Rodney Raines won the singles amongst 43 shooters with the lone 100.
He also managed to win the caps with a 95 if I am not mistaken. We left before the doubles were finished.
SC has a new crew of refs and hopefully some of them with catch on before the Friday crush of shooters.
George Ponton - Bill Howe - Billy Thigpen - George Suddreth - Terry Roush - Charlie Brown - Roger Shaffer - Dave Daily - and a few others visited the tent city today..
I will get some pictures posted sometime tonight and all scores are available on trapshooters.com.......

Hot - muggy - gnats - deer ticks and folks are still breaking great scores. Jeff Galloway won his yardage in the caps with a 94.
Charlie brown led all shooters with a 96 in the caps and tied with a 20 yard shooter.
Friday should be a fun time for all..

Ok - not sure who won in Singles - JC Nunn Tied Bill Howe for Sr-Vet in the caps with Bill winning the shootoff in the dark.
Charlie Brown broke a 99 in the doubles with Kevin Parrot winning Open Hi-Gun with the lone 100 straight..
Forecast for Saturday is 60% chance of rain and wind 10-20 mph - oh joy...
Also - George wants the (_candy_) crew from Watuaga to know that he is representing down here don't you know.

It's over and NC shooters took home trophies and a little money back across the border to NC.
Addison Callan won numerous trophies - Charlie Brown won HAA and had the top score for the 1000 targets.
Jeff Galloway won - Tommy Brown won the long yardage caps today with a 95 and hit the top Lewis.
JC Nunn was in another shootoff and lost by one bird to Joe Davis from GA. JC hung inthere like a champ until the end.
I know there were other winners and we will try to list them at a later date.
