Rock "End Of Summer" Shoot Scores

Cooler temps and clear skies greeted shooters at the Rockingham Gun Club today. The official “End Of Summer” shoot attracted folks from the Coast and the State of VA. We ran three traps for the singles and four traps for the caps. Everything went smoothly and we had a great BBQ lunch with peach cobbler. I wonder who made that?

Singles found Tommy Brown at the top of the heap with a perfect 100. New shooter Danny Lloyd wound up knotted up with Tommy Brown for the caps honors that went three rounds in a shootoff before Danny Lloyd winning in the extra rounds. Last but not least, Tommy Brown broke them all to secure the doubles event and posted an impressive 293x300 for the HOA. As Marty Hill would say – now onto the scores…
