Great day on the mountain for a little trap shooting. I think we had everything in the world going on up on the mountain. We had car shows out at the High School, a bike race that had over 12 hundred riders call the Blood Sweat and Gears. But the most important thing going this day on the mountain was a good old draw a line in the sand trap shoot. We had a lot of old and new faces show up this weekend Fred Rutherford and Ray Laughters found their way east, and a lovely couple down out of Virginia by the name of Bobby and Jennifer Anders. I hope we showed them a good time and that they will come back.
Now on to the shooting. We had 22 shooter roll out to the fields for singles. And Fred Rutherford not only made his way east, he brought his A game and posted a 98 for top honors. Then in handicap we had two shooters going to the coin to determine the winner. Ronnie Manuel and John Waters came in with scores of 94, with Ronnie taken top honors on the flip. Then we moved on to doubles where Tom Brown strutted his stuff and posted a 94 for champion.
Let’s see for HOA Tom Brown showed off with a 280 followed closely by Ronnie Manuel with a 279.
Now, let me say there are few rewards that comes down too these tired and restless fingers. Its a thankless job that I must do in posting all these scores and points. But every now and then there comes these days, these scores that just bring a little light and joy to this ol man. With that I want to direct your eyes to C class doubles.
