Buckhorn hosted two days of shooting over the weekend. Saturday saw a great turnout with more sunshine than was forecast along with more wind than was called for (and NO PIE to be had!!! Kevin!!!). 32 shooters took the line for singles, 20 for handicap and 11 for doubles. Sunday was a different day altogether with a much smaller crowd. 5 for singles, 3 shot the caps, 3 "experienced" the doubles and we had a delicious cobbler!(Thanks Kevin!)
It's not that folks weren't there Sunday, it appeared that it was "safer" to sit on the porch and pick on each other. A lot. The abuse some of us take....... We saw damp, chilly temps early with wind. Then damp, humid conditions with wind. A spot of sunshine showed itself for a brief period, with wind.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and wives that shoot, work, sacrifice time, and support the shooting sports.
As always, thank you sooooo much to all that give of their time to make it possible for all of us to enjoy this sport. From target setting, loading targets, scoring, preparing the great meals, cleaning up, (putting up with Jim), putting "things" away and preparing for the next one.
Less than a month now to the 2015 NC State Shoot. Hope to see you there.
Have a Great Day! Dan
