Good evening from the Hilton in Duncan SC. This hotel is undergoing renovation and it is a mess. There is a brand new hotel going up right next door and interested to see what chain it is.
The weather Thursday night was rainy and it continued into the morning and it was coming down. Traffic was bad due to an 18 wheeler running off the road next to the highway.
When we got to the club the bottom fell out just as we were getting the tents setup. They postponed the start time to 9 and then the rain moved on. It did not rain the rest of the day and the doubles weather was cooler and sunny.
Henry McGinnis broke a 100 in the singles and not sure how many more they were. He will turn 80 August the 6th and bought his 870 meat gitter in 1968. Noah Gouge broke a 98 in caps and not sure who won the doubles.
Mash on the link for more pictures from Friday.......
