Middle of February and the area is anticipating a wintry forecast. While folks like John Sandell and Tiffany Decker get to enjoy warm weather and gentle breezes. Anyway, back to NC reality and at least we have a shoot this weekend at Buckhorn.
Buckhorn shoots this Sunday and hopefully we will get a shoot program to post. Normally it is 100 singles, caps and 50 pair of doubles....
The Silver Dollar Gun Club is Odessa shoots all the time and this week they held the Winchester/White Flyer shoot. NC shooter Tiffany Decker broke 100 straight in the first singles event for the Lady honors. She won Lady honors in the championship doubles and won the main handicap Sunday with a 96 in windy conditions.
John Sandell is spreading lead at the Sarasota Trap and Skeet center. They have several trap ranges and use WF targets. They shot 5 stand and will be shooting sporting clays on some of their 4 SC ranges. Skeet, rifle, pistol and archery and they have a reduced non-resident member rate. Shells available at $99 of various flavors.
Ok, hopefully this will be winter’s last chance to get the snow out of it’s system. I know everyone is looking forward to getting out and shooting a bit.
