JC Nunn took advantage of the $21 targets by winning the HOA at the Rockingham Gun Club today. Andrew Carroll won the singles with a solid 98 wtih Winky Mabe taking the handicap with a 94. Doubles were won by Freddy Redmon with a 94 after sitting out the singles and caps.
We had shooters from Virginia and first time shooters Addison and James Callan. James Callan broke his first 25 in singles competition today and was awarded a Remington 25 straight patch by Tom Cox. Tom Brown hit the "Daily Mid 50" when Winky Mabe and Steve Karas failed to play it with 48's.
The weather was great temperature wise with overcast skies and pollen turning the traphouse tops yellow. There was a lot of activity at the club with a registered skeet shoot taking place at the skeet range. Tom Cox provided a good lunch with BBQ from "Short Sugars" and all the trimmings.
