Leaves fell and the shot flew at the Toys for Tots Annual trapshoot at the Buckhorn Gun Club. The weather was absolutely beautiful with minimal wind and clouds if you can believe it. A great crowd turned out with 32 singles, 24 caps and 14 doubles shooters stepping to the line. The fall foliage was still present around the club and the ride to the club was great also.

Singles found three shooters tied with 98’s with Indiana shooter Joseph Brumfield taking the top spot. Handicap produced two 96’s with local Gail “Mojo” Page and Joseph Brumfield tied for the top spot. Gail was the eventual winner and got a punch to the 19.5. Local James “Twins” Wilson posted one better than Tommy Brown and Greg High for the doubles top prize. And yes Dan Johnson will be proud of his protégé Jimmy Wilson by out shooting all others and winning the HOA with a solid 288x300. Now for the rest of the story as Marty Hill would say it!
