Another "Fried Turkey Shoot" has come and gone without Marty Hill burning down the clubhouse at the Fort Bragg Clay Target Center, and for that I'm sure that we are all Thankful. A good crowd of 25 shooters showed up to shoot and partake in an early Thanksgiving trial run. The clouds hung around all day and made for some interesting
shooting. Michael Johns was tops in singles with a 99, just beating out Tom Brown who
came in with a solid 98. Joe Brumfield a young US Marine from Indiana made his first trip to Fort Bragg and took the Handicap event with a 93 on a very tough day for caps. Tom
Brown broke into the winners circle with a 94 to win the Doubles Event. Tom Brown also
managed to win another HOA with a 275x300. I'm telling you that someone needs to help
Tom adjust something on that Seitz he's been shooting.
