CSL Scores For May 22nd, 2010

Post by smokem »

It was a great day for shooting, in spite of a 15 minute morning shower before we started. Good fellowship and delicious lunch by Ann Herring as usual. Only 12 shooters. We missed many regulars. We experienced problems with the ERADS all day with no pulls and slow pulls. Finally in the middle of doubles, we removed tape which had recently been added around three sides to water proof them and they worked well after that.

Watauga May 22 ATA Shoot

Well in the face of bad weather, we were able to put a little bit of a shoot together. Really we played around a little rain but was able to get all the events in.

In Singles we had Richard Drake walking away with number one with a 98, and a host of shooters coming in the house packing 96's. We started handicap after a little rain delay
and as always a little breeze was on the back side. In the face of a litte breeze we had John Waters taking top honors with a 92. Now we move into doubles and we have the George and George show. BamBam Sudderth had to share top scores with George Ponton and that was a 94.

And now I want to thank everyone for coming out we had a great time. I also want to thank Sheila for cooking up some of her championship chilli. Now to hear it on the line Shelley said he stood at the stove with a spoon in his hand. The meal was great and just what we needed too face the rain and handicaps.
